摘要: A dibenzothiophene (DBT)-degrading bacterium, Rhodococcus erythropolis D-1, which utilized DBT as a sole source of sulfur, was isolated from soil. metabolized to 2-hydroxybiphenyl (2-HBP) by the strain, and 2-HBP almost stoichiometrically accumulated dead-end metabolite degradation. degradation this strain shown proceed → sulfone 2-HBP. at an initial concentration 0.125 mM completely degraded within 2 days cultivation. up 2.2 rapidly resting cells only 150 min. It thought had higher DBT-desulfurizing ability than other microorganisms reported previously.
