摘要: An electronic analog‐type computer is described which performs the Abel inversion on signals detected by a scanning photoelectric spectrometer. This computation necessary to obtain radial characteristics of an inhomogeneous light source from observed ``side‐on'' measurements. The amplitudes resulting Fourier analysis photomultiplier signal are operated upon produce electrical corresponding intensity at any desired distance. can be continuously recorded as function wavelength. optical system used for repetitively presenting profile 100 cps also described.
