摘要: Background The microbiota has been recognised as an important part for maintaining human health. Perturbation to its structure implicated in many diseases, such obesity and cancers. The is highly metabolically active fills niche metabolic pathways absent from the host. Diseases obesity, cardiovascular disease colorectal cancer linked altered metabolism. However, there a gap current knowledge on how mucosal-associated colon mucosa interact. Here we performed integrated analysis between mucosal tissue metabolites healthy non-human primates. Results We found that overall composition influenced by both location well We also identified bacteria signatures different intestinal locations. distal bacterial signature includes Ruminococcaceae, Bacteroidales, Christensenellaceae, Clostridiales, Sphaerochaeta, Victivallaceae, GMD14H09, CF231, ML615J-28, RF39 R4-45B taxa. In cecum, include Prevotella, Anaerovibrio, Roseburia, Anaerostipes. Desulfovibrionaceae family only taxon may be duodenum. intricate global relationship host metabolome mainly driven colon. Most importantly, microbial-centric clusters have potential implications studying host-microbiota interactions.
