Diuron degradation using three-dimensional electro-peroxone (3D/E-peroxone) process in the presence of TiO2/GAC: Application for real wastewater and optimization using RSM-CCD and ANN-GA approaches.

摘要: Abstract The present study investigates the efficiency of a three-dimensional electro-peroxone (3D/E-peroxone) reactor filled with TiO2-GAC in removing diuron from aqueous solution and remediation real pesticide wastewater. behavior system terms effect independent variables on was investigated optimized by RSM-CCD ANN-GA methods. Both approaches proved to have very good performance modeling process determined optimum condition as follows: initial pH = 10, applied current = 500 mA, supporting electrolyte = 0.07 M, ozone concentration = 10 mg L−1, reaction time = 10 min. 3D/E-peroxone achieved synergistic abatement reduced significantly energy consumption, compared its individual components. H2O2 concentration generated electrolysis notably increased presence microparticles. BOD5/COD ratio wastewater 0.049 0.571 within 90 min treatment. Giving considerable enhancement biodegradability wastewater, this strongly suggests that can be considered promising pretreatment step before biological treatment produce intermediates which are more easily degradable microorganisms.
