摘要: ABSTRACTSolid-state urea clathrate formation (SSUCF) as a chemical separation method prior to stable carbon isotope fingerprinting of diesel fuel contaminations was studied. The ratios (δ13C) n-alkanes in can be used trace the origin contamination. accurate measurement isotopic composition individual compounds requires baseline from any other co-eluting compounds. For this purpose silica gel column chromatography (SGCC) and SSUCF were applied. Detailed optimisation performed: different activators, temperatures, activator volumes, times sample capacity investigated. main benefits developed are reduced time increased recoveries for lower molecular weight n-alkanes. ranged between 63 100% C10–C24 with relative standard deviation no more than 7%. precision ga...
