摘要: Developmental dysplasia of the hip is a congenital joint malformation affecting proximal femurs and acetabulum that are subluxatable, dislocatable, dislocated. Conventionally, physicians made diagnoses treatments only based on findings from two-dimensional (2D) images by manually calculating clinic parameters. However, anatomical complexity disease limitation current standard procedures make accurate diagnosis quite difficultly. In this study, we developed system provides quantitative measurement 3D clinical indexes computed tomography (CT) images. To extract bone structure surrounding tissues more accurately, firstly segments using knowledge-based fuzzy clustering method, which formulated modifying objective function c-means algorithm with additive adaptation penalty. The second part calculates automatically indexes, extended 2D to for description spatial relationship between acetabulum. evaluate performance, experimental study 22 patients unilateral or bilateral affected was performed. results index (AI) provided were validated comparison measured surgeons manually. correlation two found be 0.622 (p<0.01).
