摘要: Abstract The Amazon basin constitutes the most developed rainforest in world, accounting for 15-20% of global freshwater input into oceans. low level flow over this region is climatologically dominated by Atlantic anticycslone and trade winds. This yields an incoming oceanic moist air to continent from East, which forced lift up Andes range at West. confluence entrance humidity, heat, evaporation strong rainfall results accumulation water vapor region. There a statistically significant surplus humidity land as compared ocean (the largest difference found during austral summer). turns one important heat sources tropical atmosphere, feeding pattern like Walker-type circulation, where ascent stage not but land. Global Positioning System radio occultation data show be excellent tool observe accumulated above basin.
