摘要: Aerosol samples were collected at Syowa, Antarctica (69°00'S, 39°35'E), from February 13, 1993 to January 29, 1994. All analyzed by ion-chromatography examine the mass concentrations of sodium (Na + ), sulfate (SO 4 2- and methanesulfonate (MSA or CH 3 SO - ). The MSA ranged a mean value 1.4 ng m -3 during winter (from June August 1993) 32 summer March 1993, December 1994). concentration non-sea-salt (nss-SO ) was 34 winter, whereas it 147 . molar ratio nss-SO 0.25 summer, but values decreased 0.04. This resulted difference in amplitudes between seasonal variations concentrations. A similar variation also found other sampling sites over broad area southern oceans. Since interaction atmospheric boundary layer free troposphere seems regionally vary, is difficult explain MSA/nss-SO only transport air parcels atmosphere. appears be mainly result dimethylsulfide (DMS SCH oxidation process.
