Magnetic anomalies northeast of Cape Adare, northern Victoria Land (Antarctica), and their relation to onshore structures

摘要: An aeromagnetic survey was flown over the offshore region northeast of Cape Adare and magnetic anomalies compared to onshore structures between Pennell Coast Tucker Glacier. The show two nearly orthogonal major trends. NNW-SSE trending represent seafloor spreading within Trough. A connection these Northern Basin Ross Sea is not clear. Onshore faults are closely aligned anomalies. Main trends NW-SE NE-SW NNE- SSW. oriented dextral-transtensional extensional parallel Peninsula Trough normal appear segment main Hallett volcanic bodies.
