摘要: The motion characteristics of floating bodies, in and below a free surface, that are subject to surface waves examined. effects various degrees approximation hydrodynamic coefficients on the results computations investigated basis linear theory. behavior such as added mass, damping, wave-exciting force with respect frequency oscillation (or wave length) depth submergence is also investigated. Numerical obtained for three cylindrical bodies circular, rectangular, rhombic cross sections. reveal fairly crude approximations can be applied compute oscillatory submerged bodies.
