摘要: Abstract Mechanical relaxation studies, over the temperature range from about 100[ddot] K to or above melting point, were performed on unannealed and annealed samples of vinyl stearate, as-received purified poly(vinyl stearate), a series radiation-polymerized having different monomer-polymer ratios. These latter polymerized in solid state by exposure crystalline monomer 60Co source characterized density measurements, X-ray diffraction, differential thermal analysis (DTA). The modulus-temperature loss-temperature curves showed mechanical centered at 210[ddot]K (959 Hz) which appeared decrease toward limiting value with increase annealing time. This behavior is similar that observed dielectric studies stearate. With radiation time greater conversion polymer, magnitude 210[ddot] loss peak increased while position shifted lower ...
