摘要: Infection of a wound site on dicotyledonous plant by Agrobacterium tumefaciens results in the formation crown gall tumors. These tumor cells contain bacterial plasmid DNA sequences integrated chromosomal DNA. The transfer from bacterium to host cell is presumed require intimate contact between involved; however, there little information available mechanism this transfer. earlier steps interaction with prior have received considerable attention. While not all details are clear, it still one best understood examples surface and recognition phytopathogenic cell. This due large amount effort currently expended research Agrobacterium,to availability tissue culture model systems, some genetic about bacterium.
