摘要: Abstract 1. The effects of ibotenic acid, a structural analogue glutamic on fibres the coxal adductor muscle locust Schistocerca gregaria were investigated. 2. Bath-applied DL -ibotenic acid produced transient increase in membrane conductance all this muscle, i.e., those with an inhibitory innervation (I-fibres) and only excitatory (NI-fibres), accompanied by either small depolarization or hyperpolarization. 3. Responses to iontophoretic application obtained over surface I- NI-fibres. 4. postsynaptic potential response glutamate depressed bath-applied for as long induced change persisted, but recovered waned. 5. dose-conductance curve was shifted right whereas dose-potential left; manner consistent competitive inhibition. 6. I-fibres γ-aminobutyric (GABA) not blocked acid. 7. Picrotoxin GABA-induced I-fibres, glutamate-induced both NI-fibres, while enhancing 8. It is concluded that acts receptors distributed non-synaptic muscle-fibres has no affinity membrane. combined suggest existence different pharmacological properties ion specificities from found
