摘要: Disclosed are optical data bus configurations for interconnecting terminals so that any terminal can communicate with other terminal. It is known to do this by connecting serially using two trunk fibers and connect together in a star configuration single transmission or reflection star. The serial network limited loss while the requires more fiber costly. which uses six arranged groups of 3 each, conducting light mutually opposite directions. A transmitting means each coupled group adjacent one connected different than Another arrangement disclosed hybrid reflection-transmission couplers. Terminals be ports couplers, couplers interconnected thereof. relatively small number required interconnect large terminals.
