摘要: Abstract Maize production in Thailand has moved to the highlands, where residues of crop and weeds are burned prepare land for new crop. This study was done compare relay cropping maize with legumes reduce burning highlands at Pang-da Royal Agriculture Station. The experiment conducted 3 maize-legume treatments (maize + lablab, ricebean cowpea) monoculture (farmer's practice) replicates wet season 2012 2013. grain yield 5.19 Mg/ha maize-mono, but 24-53% higher relays. There additional legume 0.13 0.30 0.73 cowpea. Contribution from biological N 2 fixation is most likely have contributed total above ground nitrogen 288 kg N/ha 177 kg 186 kg cowpea, compared 101 kg maize-mono. While maize-mono residue lost burning, 136 kg retained maize+lablab bean residue, 68 kg 36 kg cowpea residue. These systems promising as a means while increasing same time.
