摘要: Biomarkers in cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) are useful the differential diagnosis between frontotemporal dementia (FTD) and Alzheimer's (AD), but require lumbar puncture, which is a moderately invasive procedure that can cause anxiety to patients. Gradually, measurement of blood biomarkers has been attracting great interest. Testing instead CSF, order measure biomarkers, offers numerous advantages because it negates need for widely available, be repeated, allowing prediction disease course. In this study, systematic review existing literature was conducted, as well meta-analysis with greater emphasis on most studied p-tau progranulin. The goal give prominence evidence regarding use plasma clinical practice.
