摘要: Stable and high solid content (about 50 wt%) St/BA emulsifier-free latexes were successfully synthesized using emulsion polymerization with the addition of a small amount reactive emulsifier AMPS. Properties latexes, such as average particle diameter its distribution, morphology latex particles, stability investigated. Physical properties films, i.e., glass transition temperature (Tg), water resistance, solvent resistance investigated well. The size particles is 400–600 nm in diameter, which larger than that prepared by conventional polymerization. And distribution narrow uniform. It was found decreases increasing initiator KPS Compared film polymerization, resistant films are improved greatly.
