摘要: Abstract Adhesion experiments were conducted with various metals contacting a clean iron (011) surface. The included copper, gold, silver, nickel, platinum, lead, tantalum, aluminum, and cobalt. Some of the examined oxygen present on their surface as well in state. LEED Auger emission spectrometer analyses used to determine nature changes that took place result adhesive contact. All at 20°C 10 −10 torr. Results indicate that, iron, cohesively weaker will adhere transfer stronger. chemical activity metal also influenced forces measured. more reactive gave higher adhesion values. With surface, where bond was than cohesive bonds, measured could be correlated binding energy oxygen.
