摘要: This chapter reviews recent evidence establishing the comparable organization of dopamine afferents and dopaminergic receptors in human monkey prefrontal cortex. Light microscopy using a dopamine-specific antibody reveals that innervation cortex exhibits distinct bilaminar distribution with dense bands fibers upper deeper strata cortex, closely resembling patterning Also, EM-immunohistochemistry has now revealed identical synaptic complexes both monkey. In species, axons from symmetric synapses predominantly on spines pyramidal cells. many cases, same spine is apposed by an asymmetric, putatively excitatory synapse. Finally, D1-specific ligand, 3H-SCH23390, D2-specific H3-raclopride, label binding sites laminar positions which match location densest innervation. These results indicate cortical system essentially macaque nonhuman primate suitable animal model for analysis function
