摘要: In Canada, acute care refers to the in-hospital treatment of a disease during its initial phases (typically measured in days). Determining how bed availability impacts patient access is great interest British Columbia (BC) Ministry Health Services and health service delivery industry worldwide. this article we discuss simulation queueing theory model with three input streams consisting Emergency, Direct Elective Transfers, designed examine question counts impact services inBC's hospitals. We further develop an optimization algorithm determine optimal allocations among hospital segments order minimize average wait time. The demonstrated on exemplar hospital.
