摘要: The whisker representations in the somatosensory barrel cortex of mice are modulated by sensory inputs associated with animal motor behavior which shows circadian rhythmicity. In a C57/BL mouse strain kept under light/dark (LD 12:12) regime, we observed daily structural changes cortex, correlated locomotor activity level. Stereological analysis serial electron microscopic sections sacrificed during their active or rest period, revealed an increase total numerical density synapses and excitatory located on dendritic spines rest, as well inhibitory double-synapse period. This is first report demonstrating rhythm remodeling mammalian manifested spines. Moreover, have found that differently regulated day/night cycle.
