Measurements of Second Sound in Partially Spin-PolarizedHe3-He4Solutions

摘要: The second-sound velocity of three dilute /sup 3/He-/sup 4/He mixtures was measured with high precision down to a temperature 10 mK and in magnetic field 93 kOe. For the most sample, which had molar concentration 0.001, maximum spin polarization 3/He atoms estimated be 36%. relative change 3%. This is considerably larger than predicted recently by Bashkin Meyerovich. An explanation for this discrepancy presented.
