摘要: Between February 1989 and March 1990 a study was undertaken to investigate sea temperature variability around Cape Recife, Algoa Bay, during after upwelling events. Data were collected by moored thermistors ship's cruise, wind measurements made at Recife Bird Island. Results confirmed off the southern shoreline of easterly or north-easterly winds. When switched westerly south-westerly, relaxed cold water that had broken surface dispersed eastwards towards point Recife. Within few hours change in direction westerly, observed along Bay The influence wind-forcing Kelvin waves on emergence Bay-side cape are discussed.
