摘要: OBJECTIVES We investigated relationships at the health-plan level among member ratings of and reports on plans in Consumer Assessment Health Plans Survey (CAHPS). sought a more parsimonious description that can be used analyses distribution correlates consumer-assessed quality. SUBJECTS There were 89,419 Medicare beneficiaries enrolled 212 managed-care health who responded to CAHPS 1998. MEASURES 39 survey items measuring consumer care. METHODS adjusted correlations for sampling variability plan means performed principal factor analysis report with oblique rotation. grouped loaded heavily different factors, formed composites, regressed rating composites. RESULTS Four factors explained 75% variance reports. The corresponding groups concerned following subjects: (1) interactions around delivery care doctor's office; (2) customer service from plan; (3) access medical services provided by plan, such as specialist care, equipment, therapy, or drugs; (4) advice health-promoting activities. Corrected Cronbach alpha composites 0.97, 0.93, 0.86, 0.60. "delivery" composite was strongly predictive overall doctor, specialist; "customer" plan. CONCLUSIONS distinguishes dimensions between-plan Different global are related distinct their experiences.
