摘要: A great quantity of wastewater were discharged into water body, causing serious environmental pollution. Meanwhile, the organic compounds in are important sources energy. In this work, a high-performance short TiO(2) nanotube array (STNA) electrode was applied as photoanode material novel photocatalytic fuel cell (PFC) system for electricity production and simultaneously treatment. The results current work demonstrate that various model well real samples can be used substrates PFC system. As representative compounds, acetic acid solution produces highest performance with short-circuit density 1.42 mA cm(-2), open-circuit voltage 1.48 V maximum power output 0.67 mW cm(-2). STNA reveals obviously enhanced compared nanoparticulate film or other long nanotubes electrode. Moreover, material, electrolyte concentration, pH initial solution, cathode found to factors influencing PFC. Therefore, proposed provides way energy conversion effective disposal mode organics serves promising technology
