摘要: It has been shown that for human foveal vision the test spectral sensitivity curve obtained in presence of a large white background exhibits peaks at about 440, 530 and 610 nm small dip or notch 580 nm. Additionally, field curves medium- long-wavelength sensitive colour mechanisms when derived monochromatic (auxiliary field) spatially coincident with are sharper than corresponding Stiles's II peak 605 The short-wavelength mechanism shows no such effect, remaining 440 on sharpened coincident, auxiliary have each interpreted terms an opponent-process theory vision: response non-opponent luminance system is considered to be reduced by selective achromatic adaptation (with background) contour masking field). present study combined two techniques spatial adaptation: was used measurements both sensitivities. Under these conditions, it found showed more clearly defined deeper well fitted upper envelope curves, suggesting possibility three unitary opponent-colour may underlie A this hypothesis proposed concerning effect auxiliary-field chromaticity position curve.
