摘要: Video segmentation into shots is the first step in content-based analysis of digital video. This chapter provides a comprehensive taxonomy and critical survey existing techniques for video operating on MPEG stream. Their performance, relative merits limitations are discussed contrasted. The gradual development their similarities with methods uncompressed also considered.
