The Tc2 transposon in Caenorhabditis elegans.

摘要: Abstract A second family of transposons, named Tc2 elements, has been identified in the nematode Caenorhabditis elegans. elements are polymorphic sequence and present different numbers strains. Like transposon Tc1, is active germ line some C. elegans A high rate transposition observed progeny certain interstrain crosses, where events frequent enough to be detected blot hybridization experiments, without use a genetic screen. Our data suggest that Tc1 may regulated by same genomic factors.
