摘要: Abstract Honey bees ( Apis mellifera carnica Pollm.) have low glycogen reserves in summer. Upon emergence drones significantly larger amounts per unit weight when emerging, than workers; perhaps as adaption to the risk of not being fed intensely young workers. Maximum content was 0.23 mg for workers (28 d), and 0.59 mg (after emergence). Workers relatively constant contents during their life, very more older ones. Young queens are similar In summer greatest found thorax. When start flying (6th–8th day life), highest head (probably supply eyes), upon maturity, least abdomen. winter show different values depending on whether they active from core area (0.23 mg) or inactive ones outer surface cluster (0.37 mg). They use thorax abdomen ongoing energy need.
