摘要: Decision support tools evolve quickly. End user needs for analyses are more and sophisticated. That is why it necessary to set up departmental data marts from the warehouse. Usually these use OLAP architecture, offering a multidimensional view of data. There four main categories analysis tools: query tools, bases (MOLAP), relational (ROLAP) mining. Query light tools. Multidimensional databases stored in array table form which allow rapid visual representation basic consolidated multiple viewpoints. Relational offers same capabilities as but doesn't store any database interrogates directly. Among forthcoming evolutions decision domain, mining certainly most important. This paper presents different warehousing technologies.
