摘要: A series of activated carbons were prepared from agricultural waste corn cob by the chemical activation with zinc chloride (ZnCl2). The effect process variables such as pyrolysis temperature, soaking time and ZnCl2/corn ratio (impregnation ratio) production adsorbent was examined. most important parameter in ZnCl2 found to be impregnation ratio. percentage micropore observed decrease at higher ratios. (or activation) temperature is another variable, which had a significant on pore surface area evolution. Under experimental conditions investigated, 773 K optimal condition for producing high activation. This study showed that suitable preparation are essentially microporous.
