摘要: Damping in a building has significant impact on the amplitude of structural response. The trend towards lighter primary and secondary elements modern buildings led to structures being more susceptible vibration. level vibration is largely dependent structure’s total damping, which includes non-structural damping along with other factors. This paper discusses effect elements, characteristics four storey reinforced concrete structure. dynamic properties test structure considered, new build campus University College Dublin, were determined by post-processing ambient forced response data measured in-situ first floor at various stages construction, including prior post installation elements. Post-processing responses was undertaken using combination Operational Modal Analysis (OMA) Frequency Domain Decomposition (FDD) techniques.
