摘要: Twenty-two patients underwent excision of a primary pulmonary neoplasm and solitary cerebral metastasis. Six had metastatic tumor removed on two occasions there was one operative death in 28 craniotomies. Seven 22 (32 per cent) survived year following craniotomy were free significant symptoms for year. Survival at least 9 months freedom from achieved total 12 (55 cent). Relief severe neurologic minimum 3 17 (77 The over-all one-year survival rate 45 cent the average period is 14 with still living. factors favorable bearing outcome: Stage I lung cancer resection, whole-brain radiation therapy, longer interval between resection experience encourages us to pursue an aggressive surgical approach
