摘要: Measurements made in feces and urine of Wistar rats exposed to lead acetate (n = 20) drinking water since the fetal period were compared with those obtained from a control group order assess age influence on Pb excretion. The measurements different collections aging between 1 11 months. To determine content samples, total reflection X-ray fluorescence (TXRF) electrothermal atomic absorption spectrometry (ETAAS) used for samples energy dispersive (EDXRF) was feces. The results show high concentrations being eliminated organism by contaminated rats. Values vary (600 ± 140) µg l−1 (5 460 ± 115) µg l−1 (4 500 ± 300) µg g−1 (11 400 ± 3 300) µg g−1 dry feces. show, general, low or below detection limits. fecal/urinary ratio studied. It shown be about three four orders magnitude positively correlated time. verified that excretion decreases animal this decrease is levels excretions are correlated. A good agreement found TXRF ETAAS samples. This work also stresses suitability these techniques study intoxication. Copyright © 2011 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
