摘要: The genetic positions of the five Arabidopsis thaliana centromere regions have been identified by mapping size polymorphisms in centromeric 180-bp repeat arrays. Structural and analysis indicates that arrays up to 1000 kb are found region each chromosome. behavior suggests recombination within is suppressed. These results indicate A. resemble human centromeres genomic organization.
