摘要: Results of five series high-precision viscosity measurements on gaseous propane, each differing in density, are reported. The were performed a quartz oscillating-disk viscometer with small gaps from room temperature up to about 625 K and for densities between 0.01 0.05 mol · L−1. experimental data evaluated first-order expansion, terms the viscosity. Reduced values second virial coefficients deduced zero-density initial-density propane furthern-alkanes close agreement theoretical representation Rainwater-Friend theory potential parameter ratios by Bich Vogel. A new limit zero density is provided using some sets literature. universal correlation based extended principle corresponding states extends over range 293 an uncertainty ±0.5 % deviates earlier representations 1 at upper limit.
