摘要: Background: SPARC-like protein 1 (SPARCL1/Hevin), a member of the SPARC family is defined by presence highly acidic domain-I, follistatin-like domain, and an extracellular calcium (EC) binding domain. SPARCL1 has been shown to be down-regulated in many types cancer may serve as negative regulator cell growth proliferation. Methods: Both tumor adjacent normal tissue were collected from patients with gastric adenocarcinoma. Monoclonal antibody developed against recombinant was used analyze expression immunohisto chemical western blotting (WB) analysis. Results: The found significantly lower or negligible adenocarcinoma tissues nearly all cases comparison tissue. This independent patient’s age, sex, stage cancer. Conclusions: We postulate that down regulation related inactivation its suppressor functions might play important role development
