摘要: Abstract Effects of grain size on the yield strain brass (70–30), respectively, under tensile and compressive stresses were investigated using a Kelvin probe, highly sensitive instrument for measuring electron work function (EWF) materials. The average study varied from 20 nm to 80 μm. nanocrystalline structure was generated by sandblasting followed recovery treatment. Results EWF measurement demonstrated that differed as applied stress changed compressive. magnitude is larger than strain. It observed with decrease in size, difference between decreased. mechanism responsible effect are discussed.
