摘要: Work in construction is associated with a high risk for musculoskeletal disorders and injuries. The symptom survey was conducted to determine the magnitude injury characteristics among cement concrete workers identify most problematic work-related activities job factors that might have contributed occurrence of these disorders. Findings revealed large proportion laborers (77%) experienced at least one disorder last year. Low back pain reported as frequently (66%). 'Working while pain' perceived major problem trade. Other included 'bending or twisting back', 'work hot, cold wet conditions', 'handling heavy objects'. Most (82%) requested on-the-job safety training.
