摘要: Both synchrotron radiation-based techniques (XANES) and transmission electron microscopy (EDX, EELS) are used to draw a comparison of antiwear thermal films generated from neutral basic ZDDP salts. Antiwear were created in pin-on-flat wear machine the debris was collected. The analysis tribofilms did not show any substantial difference between ZDDPs. scar diameter P S chemical environment tribofilm very similar. revealed differences composition. Wear seems be mostly composed either unreacted or linkage isomer (LI-ZDDP), zinc polyphosphate; whereas as far is concerned exclusively polyphosphate (and sulphur species). More iron also detected with – possibly an indication content tribofilm. Differences structure could films. While reacted surface form polyphosphates at 150°C, same reaction products obtained 175°C. concentration oil thought main parameter explain film formation.
