Application of Gettering Process on the Improvement of the Structural and Mineralogical Properties of Tunisian Phosphate Rock

摘要: The present study deals with the effects of gettering process on structural and mineralogical composition Tunisian phosphate rock. treated samples were characterized to investigate variation physical structure chemical as compared reference quantitative analysis impurities concentration before after treatment using energy-dispersive (EDX) reveals a significant reduction impurity (more than 75%) such Al, Si, S, Na, Mg. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) shows that promoted alterations rock sample due fusion impurities. XRD patterns show chief mineral constituent is only fluorapatite, while those in ore calcite, dolomite, quartz carbonate-fluorapatite. FT-IR characterization disappearance bands related calcite at 714 cm-1 well B carbonate situated 1430 cm-1, 1458 treatment. This result good correlation Raman analysis.
