Hydrogenation rate limiting step, diffusion and thermal conductivity in cold rolled magnesium hydride

摘要: In this paper, the investigation of rate limiting steps in hydrogen absorption and desorption cold rolled magnesium hydride is reported. Absorption curves were made at different temperatures with constant driving force. Results show that step reactions does not change temperature. After rolling, diffusion controlled, while process three dimensional growth existing nuclei. NMR measurements are also reported; there no increase diffusive motions material, compared to bulk. The effect rolling ball milling on thermal conductivity was investigated.
