摘要: The magnetic structure of the spin-chain antiferromagnet SrCo2V2O8 is determined by single-crystal neutron diffraction experiment. system undergoes long range order below T_N = 4.96 K. moment 2.16{\mu}_B per Co at 1.6 K in screw chain running along c axis alternates c-axis. moments neighboring chains are arranged antiferromagnetically one in-plane and ferromagnetically other axis. This configuration breaks 4-fold symmetry tetragonal crystal leads to two equally populated twins with antiferromagnetic vector a or b very similar state isostructural BaCo2V2O8 warrants another interesting half-integer for investigation on quantum antiferromagnetism.
