摘要: Abstract This paper investigated the fatigue behaviour of composite sandwich beams, which consisted glass fibre reinforced plastic (GFRP) skins and a foam core, strengthened with transverse or longitudinal GFRP stiffeners. A total 42 specimens were prepared using vacuum-assisted resin transfer molding technology. The effects stiffeners (transverse longitudinal) on failure mode, bending deflection life investigated. Experimental results revealed that for beams stiffeners, initiated from core shear interface debonding between core; while was due to compression buckling fracture failure. Moreover, strengths cycle numbers all larger than those common Lastly, damage model developed predict number under different loading levels. validity proposed has been verified estimate
