摘要: Social media has enabled information, communication and reach for health professionals. There are clear benefits to patients consumers when information is broadcast. But there unanswered questions on professionalism, education, the complex mentoring relationship between doctor student. This personal perspective raises a number of questions: What online medical professionalism? Can professionalism be taught? enforced? Is an presence necessary achieve highest level clinical excellence? evidence that social superior traditional methods teaching in education? Does encourage multitasking impairment learning process? Are downsides perfunctory laconic nature media? waste time better spent attaining skills?
