摘要: Abstract This paper deals with the prediction of initial rotational stiffness and moment resistance bolted endplate joints between I-beams hollow or concrete filled steel tubular (CFST) columns. An extensive numerical analysis was carried out on a wide range configurations CFST columns subjected to transverse forces. Based simulation results, models for ‘column side walls in tension compression’ face bending’ which is most deformable component within joint were proposed. The proposed then incorporated into method adopted EC3 EC4 predict joints. obtained predictions compared experimental results 44 available tests verify validity models. comparison indicated that are more reliable than existing ones thus could be guidelines design sections.
