摘要: The specific objectives of the present research were to analyze hydrochemistry surface water and groundwater study area classify salinity hazard resources from different sources Gopalganj district in order evaluate suitability for irrigation purposes. A total 21 samples collected (canal, ponds river), shallow tube well (STW) deep (DTW). Important parameters analysed identify like EC, Total hardness (TH), important anions Cl¯, SO42¯ PO43¯ determined along with cations Ca2+, Mg2+ , Na+ K+ . Both maintained trend Cl¯ > PO43¯. cation both Ca2+ Mg2+. elevated Electrical conductivity (EC), Cl− high content relative suggest their saline origin. While hardness, SAR, soluble sodium percentage (SSP) other analysis indicated that most DTW not suitable irrigation. Plotting Wilcox diagram evidenced especially river had higher SSP values greater than 80 indicating a threat hazard. Among samples, 2 (25%) fell under “good” class, “fair” class 4 (50%) “poor” class. STW (40%) (20%) suitability.
