摘要: OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the relationships between supine sagittal abdominal diameter (SAD) and visceral fat, as well to intra- inter-observer reliability of measurement. PATIENTS: Twenty-eight women ranging in age from 27-78y with a body mass index (BMI) 16.9-48.1 kg/m 2 23 men 32-75y BMI 20-41.6 . MEASUREMENT: Body fat distribution was measured by waist circumference, hip ratio (WHR), SAD, anthropometrically assessed single slice computed tomography (CT) at L4-L5 level. RESULTS: In both genders, significant association found adipose tissue (AT) evaluated CT (women r =0.80; = 0.83, p 28 BMI> 30) we that SAD anthropometry, AT, were higher lean moderately overweight subjects than those who obese. High correlation concerning measurement (r= 0.99, P< 0.001). Intra- precision coefficient variation intraclass for very high. CONCLUSION: Our study shows usefulness anthropometry predict its high inter- intra-observer precision.
