摘要: Background:  The vaginal route is more effective than the other drug delivery routes for some specific indications. Aim:  To compare efficacy of a progesterone preparation with that oral dydrogesterone. Methods:  A total 69 women irregular dysfunctional uterine bleeding were randomly assigned into one two groups: dydrogesterone group (n = 35) and (n = 34). At end three-month treatment period, re-evaluated. endometrial histology findings menstrual cycle characteristics used as primary outcome measures. Pearson chi-square Fisher’s exact test data analysis. Results:  Findings from 54 eligible evaluated. There was no statistically significant difference in both recordings results between groups. Conclusions:  Vaginal micronised could be an alternative to preparations bleeding. This needs further evaluated adequately controlled randomised trials against treatments.
