摘要: Developing more potential green business is at the heart of sustainability. As an important third engine economic growth Malaysia’s agriculture not only needs to grow, but also importantly grow sustainably. Rice provides staple food and abundant potentials for rice-based products, it produces post-harvest wastes in form straws which do pose some environmentally serious disposal problems. rice straw as raw materials agri-based enterprises would strengthen sector through development value-added industrial chains while reducing less friendly impact disposal. This paper examines factors that influence entrepreneurs’ decision utilize material agribusiness development. The study involved in-depth interviews 44 entrepreneurs located two largest granary area Malaysia Muda Agricultural Development Authority (MADA) region (24 entrepreneurs) Sekinchan (20 Integrated Area (IADA) North-West Selangor. Results showed availability, prices, potentials, government supports, environmental policies were all may motivate or discourage agripreneurs up-stream down stream enterprises.
